The MODEL: Intelligent Mentoring™- a 3 Dimensional System
Mentoring Model Dimensions

The Principle behind Intelligent Mentoring, or, IntelliMentoringTM

If you believe that good mentoring is a process and system that needs to apply to your specific situation, within your unique environment, and with your content, then you are on the way to an intelligent design of your program, which will have a much greater chance of success in the short, medium and long term.

Using the 6 level mentoring Process as shown in the IntelliMentoringTM Model above, you can apply your specific program Content within your unique Context to operate a successful mentoring program within a nurturing mentoring system.

What we provide for you are the tools and framework for you to intelligently design the content of your program to apply within your specific context.

Trial the no-obligation IntelliMentoringTM Mini-course and see if you like our approach.  It should provide you with an insight into how we enable you to design your unique Mentoring System and program.

The Model

The IntelliMentoring™ Model is a three dimensional system which facilitates and guides the development of a mentoring partnership – the dimensions are Process, Content, and Context.

IntelliMentoring integrates the dimensions of Content with the Processes required on the part of the Mentor and the Mentee to achieve the greatest benefit from their partnership, within the correct Context.  This last dimension is particularly important for the long term success of your program and system.

Defining and designing each dimension correctly is critical to the success of your mentoring system.

Attributes

Within those 3 dimensions, the IntelliMentoringTM Model has 6 levels and 3 parts (see Model diagram below).

  • Part I contains the Process Attributes of the model, and contains six levels.  These components and levels guide the Mentor and Mentee in their progression towards a successful mentoring partnership.
  • Part II contains the Mentee processes and Attributes (path and skills) required from the Mentee to accomplish the outcomes aimed for within the Mentoring Process.  There are six distinct Attributes.
  • Part III contains the Mentor processes and Attributes (path and skills) required from the Mentor to accomplish the outcomes aimed for within the Mentoring Process. There are six distinct Attributes.

This should illustrate that Mentoring is more than a program - it's a SYSTEM! And our belief is that the IntelliMentoringTM System is one that you can use as a tool to design your unique program and system to achieve success.

If you agree with the Model as you have seen it so far, try the no-obligation
Mini-course and discover for yourself if the approach works for you.
